"I feel I must mention that this service cannot be recommended in my experience. I was sadly given no welcome or greeting, despite my arriving early for my appointment and waiting in an area which I believed to be the waiting area, not having been informed beforehand as to where this was situated. The staff that I spoke to were unsympathetic and impersonal, even though they knew from my form that I had been suffering from depression for some time and was seeking counselling to help with this. I had been polite and patiently waiting for this appointment; however the woman who was supposed to be giving me an assessment was unkind and clinical, made me feel judged and unwelcome, and caused me further anxiety. I cannot recommend the Enfield Counselling Service for people suffering from depression and would recommend to avoid this place and seek a more professional service elsewhere."
