"Don't pre book a cab from this business unless you want to be left standing in the street at 2 in the morning. Complaints are ignored, couldn't care less that a regular customer is unhappy. Very poor service, totally unreliable."

"I pray for any human that has to deal with Claire at Elm Cars, the lady is an absolute nightmare, ridiculously rude on the phone and should not be the front face/voice of any business. I asked Claire how much a taxi would be to go to Brentwood Station and she's huffing and puffing down the phone in a rude manner asking what time/how many people etc. I then asked if she could do a pickup from London and she said "NO YOU SAID BRENTWOOD WE DONT DO LONDON" alright Claire bear chill out I just wanted an answer, she then started moaning about how she needs a cigarette break and if i'd like to book a cab then let's do it now. Shocking customer service! Claire, get a job non customer facing like packing boxes in amazon maybe?"

"Have used Elm cars many times and have always been happy with their service and prices. However, i rang their office to ask if i could order a cab for 1.30 for myself and my dog as i had booked an appointment at vets for 1.55. The lady said that they had drivers who would take dogs. I also asked how much it would be and was told £6. The taxi arrived at 1.15.(so i was 20 mins too early for appointment)Immediately the driver asked does the dog bite, does he moult. I told him no and laid down a towel on back seat. The driver was smoking, i didnt say anything to him but was a bit annoyed as i had a sick dog in an enclosed space. Then he told me "Do you know i have to charge more for carrying a dog" i replied "no i was told £6" He charged me £10. The following morning i rang the office and told them, the lady said i will get someone to call you back. No one rang back. Beware, the driver(not all of them) charge what they like."

"Booked early in he afternoon for 23:00. The driver was not there and gave me attitude on the phone, After me finding him a post code and then waiting for him to actually find the address, took me THE longest route home ever. He then parked two roads from my home address and argued the price with me. Absolutely poor service! Never use them!"
