"Unreliable. Booked taxi which didn’t turn up. Called office and was told “I’m just in and there’s no record of your booking.” Explained I had confirmation on app but apparently that “doesn’t work” (why take bookings on it then?!?!) and no taxis available. No apology, couldn’t care less. Subsequently late for a surprise party - thanks very much! Will not be attempting to use again."

"Possibly the worst taxi service ever. Used this service as they had put a flyer through the door. Booked 3 hours before on app to go go to restaurant then they sent a message 5mins before taxi was due to arrive to say they were unable to fulfil booking. Given we were due to leave there was no time to get another taxi company. We will not be using them in future. Would give zero stars if possible"

"Newton Mearns householder: I tried - but reckon, for me, or other MEARNS folk.... they're not to be relied upon for good honest - courteous - service. Driver took route about 10% longer than every other cab I've hired in 20+ years. (I'm a long term resident of local area and Glasgow FFS) ... Then - on exit - he ponced about with a long drawn out... some change from this wee bag,,, some change from this other bag...akin to a very theatrical SHYLOCK (yep) scene as customer "punishment" for no tip. I walked off— " before this peculiar "service provider" had finished doing his bitter "revenge of SHYLOCK" routine."

"We had previously used East Renfrewshire taxis and had been very happy. Today we required a car at 5 30a.m. And ordered it the night before. At 5 20a.m. I received a text from another private hire firm (Hampden Cars) to let me know the car was on its' way! That car drove past without stopping and my driver from East Renfrewshire Taxis didn't arrive until 5 50a.m. When we called the company's office about it at the time they did not answer my calls. This was a totally unacceptable experience and we were late at the airport and only just made it to our flight. I can understand that errors can happen but the fact that the company did not answer their phones when we were very distressed by the problem caused us extreme distress. The driver who eventually arrived was very helpful and he said that he was only dispatched to the job at 05 20a.m.despite us making the reservation some 6 hours earlier. It was a horrible experience."
