"Nice Scottish Hotel. Enjoyed meals and drinks there over the last few years and the standard has not slipped. My son had his wedding reception there and it was a lovely place to celebrate this special day; setting, meal, drinks and staff we could not fault. Have not stayed in hotel although our family have and they are returners. Very comfortable."

"Attended private function. Staff courteous, efficient and attentive. Choice on menu excellent! Quality of food excellent. Venue excellent for private function. Only one concern stairs leading from toilets through double doors definitely a hazard. Need a risk assessment steps down steep and treads narrow. One of the members fell, definitely needs reviewing otherwise you would have got 5 stars."
