"Future counsellors avoid at all costs. I had been accepted to their counselling diploma back in Spring and although I had emailed and called them several times since then ,they finally got back to me with the course dates just 2 weeks before the course start date (August). As a result I will have to miss not just the first weekend, but the whole course because of absences. The worst thing is that instead of saying sorry, they tried to gaslight me by telling me that 2 weeks is enough time and that I'm the only student complaining and making it a big deal although they were all given the dates at the same time as me (which is not true, as they were all informed 2 months before me). As if that was not enough and although this was clearly a mistake from their side, when I requested to speak to the course lead, I was not given her email as "she was extremely busy". After several emails and phone calls the course lead finally emailed me saying she could not speak to me as her work phone was not working (I guess she has never heard of zoom and internet ) but she was happy to email me back (how gracious of her). When I had to contact other students, through a group email I was added last minute, to find out when they were informed about the dates she asked me to stop contacting people as my emails were "akward and inappropriate"."
