The baby unit she is in is wonderful, the staff are very kind, very professional. and they really care about the little ones and their development. Despite difficult conditions over the lockdown the nursery has found ways to keep parents connected including some lovely virtual events. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents"

"A big thank you goes to all members of staff and current nursery manager!!! There are visible improvements within the nursery since October 2018, and hopefully this will continue on. Our child is very well looked after, and engaged with very friendly staff via various activities throughout the day. Furthermore, the location is ideal and very safe as located far away from main road, and next door to a large park area. "My daughter has been attending the Alphabet House nursery for over a year now. She started in the baby unit when she was 18 months and moved into the main toddler’s area when she was 2. She was a very attached baby, had never been looked after by anyone else before so separation was hard at first. However, the staff and particularly her key person have helped her settle in really well to the point she run from the park to the nursery door at the weekends! Baby unit give daily updates in each baby’s notebook which they take home with them. I particularly liked this system as I knew each day what activities my baby did, what she ate etc. The food is cooked fresh in the nursery and my daughter enjoys the meals. Her language skills are now of an English speaker even though we do not speak English at home. She counts to 20, knows her colours and is singing simple alphabet songs. I am very impressed with all the care her teachers provide. She talks about them nicely which I think is the most important thing to look out for in a nursery. The premises are small but the new manager has made many positive changes around the rooms and is exploring new ways of developing the children. They had a visit from Santa and a great Christmas party and are now starting football lessons. The nursery now feels like a big playroom at home. I am very grateful for their care and hard work and can’t recommend them enough. I read the other reviews and agree that sometimes a child will probably run around outside with no coat on but whose toddler doesn’t? Mine does and even I cant get her to keep it on! The most important is that the teachers are kind and approachable and I feel that my daughter is being looked after in a kind and motivating environment. I have seen many nurseries around and this one is by far the best."
