"Like others have said, do not even consider living or buying in this dump of a building called Aspects on Throwley Way. Where does one start. The fire alarm goes off regularly including at 4:00am in the morning and can last for up to 30minutes (see video). The building is as of 2021/2022 wrapped in scaffolding thereby reducing visibility of the Sutton sunsets to the west and the lively high street tramps and pissheads who’ll no doubt keep you awake when the fire alarm isn’t on. Do take note of services like heating in the flats, as the building design doesn’t allow for easy replacement of the original gas boilers. So should your boiler fail, then the only replacement option might be an expensive electric cylinder type which will obviously increase costs. Not all entrances are created equal and so If you are brave enough to enter this prison, then take note that there are two entrances. The main entrance is for the private tenants and this one has a lift at ground floor so pretty normal if the lifts aren’t broken. The second entrance is affectionately known as the “poor door” and is actually a fire exit and requires you to walk 4 flights of stairs before reaching a small fire lift. Note that your estate agent might not indicate to you during your viewing that you only have access to the flat via the “poor door” and that you will not be able to use the main entrance. This is something to be careful about as it will make moving in very difficult if you have to move furniture up and down 4 flights of stairs before arriving at the fire lift. This review is therefore intended to warn you to stay clear of this building particularly if one can afford to live elsewhere. Finally this review also aims to shine a light on the incompetence of the management (L&Q and Heritage Management), and the rotten estate agents who omit certain details associated with the building when they are offering this to let."

"Between the constant false fire alarms in the middle of the night that other residents mention, the loud music and parties that other residents have, the constantly breaking lifts both inside and outside to the car park, as well as the passive approach of the "management" company to maintenance generally, best to avoid renting here. We will be moving out of here like many already have (even the concierge has commented on just how many people have left this block)!"

"Every week there is a false fire alarm or real one because 1 of 160 flats smoked something. Even at 4am. Alarm sound is too high. My ears probably got impacted a lot because of it. Car lifts and normal lifts are being out of order because they are old. Think about families not being able to get their cars out in the weekends, holidays. There is only ADSL internet in the buliding. Optic line took 1.5 years to wire and it is not ready yet. Avoid this building if you have a family or you are fun of online games. You will not get that quality internet. Avoid this building if you are working from home and conducting online video meetings."
