"Awful service. Have tried several times to get s referral as recommended by Great Ormond St hospital. Several times his referral has been rejected. Saying child does not meet the threshold for their service, despite child presenting why serious mental health difficulties and a diagnosed neurological condition that results in self injury, anxiety and poor impulse control. if this does not meet threshold for CAMHS intervention I do not know what would! From the sounds of below its unlikely they would be much help either if he did meet threshold. Either way when they discharged him they refuse to signpost or refer him to anywhere else. Shocking and disgraceful. Poor child can't even get on the list and he cant get referred to any other servjce such as neurologist or educational psychologist without CAMHS or GP involvement. All of which , along with paediatrician are washing their hands of this poor child."
