"I had to take back a bottle of champagne for a refund because it tasted stale, having only poured out a very small glass (how else can you tell if it's ok?!). The manager called Becca refused a refund despite the fact that it was returned within 30 days in line with Sainsbury's return policy, and was not on the list of items on their website excluded from this policy. She was unable to explain why she was contradicting this policy, and had a smug and arrogant manner; at one point she was actually smirking at me. I asked for her surname and she refused to give it to me, and said "I'm ending this conversation" and walked away. Sainsburys really shouldn't be employing people with such an attitude as managers - with no communication skills. She presents a very poor image of them."

"Layout of store is bad and difficult to find small items & it has poor overhead signing . No hot food is available & stock levels on my visit were poor for fresh fruit and vegetables."

"The bread on bakery section often seems hard rather than crusty therefore most of it would be wasted. This morning some loves were still warm from the 'oven' but also hard. Just wondered why?"

"Old blonde woman on self scan made a little rude comment about my packing away my items. After I said I have a difficult time with them (bearing in mind I am disabled and struggle a little) she came along to say 'well I don't find them difficult.' Then when I needed assistance. She chose to keep talking to someone she knew, came over to my till, said nothing to me and proceeded to only speak to the woman she knew. She also called me 'darling' which I absolutely hate.. Sainsbury's.... FIX UP AND BE MORE PROFESSIONAL"

"Shop is your average Sainsbury's. Council run car park immediately above at 70p per hour. Spend enough and Sainsbury's will refund you the first hour of parking. Ramp up to car park from village way famous for its potholes and uneven road surface. Sainsbury's own the lifts and they have been filthy and covered in graffiti for months until this week when a campaign via the New Shopper git them to tidy them up. That campaign should not have been needed. Sainsbury's should value their customers more and keep the lifts clean."
