"I ordered items for same day collection. Was told in an email that my items were in stock and that I would receive a text message instructing me they were ready to collect that day. No text arrived that day or the following day so I phoned the store but went straight to answerphone telling me the store will be opened again after the weekend despite the website telling me it was currently open.I went to collect anyway and explained to the half asleep young woman that I hadn’t received a text and she told me just because it says same day it doesn’t necessarily mean same day. She then sent me the text message. Unbelievable. I explained that it had put me a day behind on the job. She just started at me. I said “no apology then?” Just a blank stare. The worst customer service I’ve ever received."

"Why is it that at the Dulwich branch in London that what used to be click and collect only, and was very quick to get the items we needed. And it is now seemingly possible for people to turn up without an order and just hold up a huge queue of people that have followed the rules and ordered online. I think this is ridiculous, and I hope you can return to online only and keep it that way forever as it was such a smooth service, quick, easy and effortless. Now every trip to toolstation is 20 mins waiting instead of 30 seconds making it not viable to use in a working day What a disaster of staff not following the business own rules..."
