"Got my kitchen from Howdens Canning Town and found the designer to be professional, attentive and listened to how we wanted the kitchen. They also suggested things we hadn’t actually thought about which saved us scrambling around afterwards. The team at this branch have always been friendly and easy to deal with."

"The furniture itself looks nice and the quality is good. A few things went wrong. We told Howdens consultant the price is over our budget and he sent us a revised invoice with a more affordable price which we happily accepted. Also, he messaged saying we'll get the flatpack version so we don't need to pay for a builder to put everything together. I specifically asked if additional cutting is required and he said that it's not required. We noticed they provide a kerbside delivery (priced at £120+VAT on the invoice altough the total price was over £1k) but we thought it should be fine since it was a flatpack version. So the delivery driver arrives, there were 2 kitchen cabinets flatpack, but also there were 2x 2.4 meter long boards for the top and back and also a 3 meter plynth which not only required to be cut to size but also very heavy to be carried by myself up the stairs to our flat (they're too long to fit in the lift). The consultant literally lied to us and when I messaged (twice) I didn't get any reply. We wish we new this from the start so we could hire the builder in advance and not having to wait an additional week until the builder was available (not to mention the extra cost and the struggle of carrying the boards on the stairs). Very bad experience."
