"A small branch of B&Q on the high-street, after going elsewhere and trying to be sold something that clearly wasn't what I wanted, I popped in here (04-02-23) to see if they would have the locks I needed. Upon entering I was met by store worker by the name of Ionela. Not only was she helpful and tried to help me but she knew what I was asking for, didn't try to sell me something expensive or dis-persuade me about what I was looking for. It's refreshing to find someone who is genuinely trying to help, knows what you are looking for and does their best to help you so thanks to her. It is a small branch so they don't have everything but it is good to get an idea and they have basics. I found a small latch lock that I needed for my bathroom. Also on another note, if anyone needs keys cutting, they have a machine instore. Good to know in case of an emergency."

"Went in to browse as was looking to get a vacuum cleaner which they had in stock and a few other bits. Wanted to see the actual size before ordering online but they had none on display. Got it a week later and while it's smaller than what's on the packaging or online, it does the job and I'm pleased."

"Hello I don't often work at Wood Green but I had work to do unfortunately I had to buy some compression fittings and visited your B&Q store I understand I'm not your top client so you won't be sorry to lost me. However, I may suggest something to you, if your bodyguard is standing like a stick, and when such a dirty construction worker in working clothes comes in, and the bodyguard goes boorishly in pursuit and shows everyone that he is an unwelcome person So excuse me I'm leaving I understand it's a nervous time right now but this year and next I will try never to enter your shop only in cases where the client persists but I will inform him that your security does not like people like me. I'm sure I'm not going to have plastic surgery just for you, or I'm definitely not going to change into a suit, I will just stay away from you until the end of 2023. "B&Q are the only shop not to accept plants for refund. I bought two red Christmas plants five days ago and they are practically dead. All other garden centres and shops that sell plants will refund you. Plants are reasonably priced and it is a good store but in future I’ll be shopping in HOMEBASE for my plants."
