"I have been a very loyal and constant user of B + Q and the Friern Barnet Retail Park for 20 years. Today I received a £100 fine for parking 30 cm over the parking bay lines. I was parked for 5 minutes in a practically empty car park at 10 am. Farewell Friern Barnet Retail Park I will never use this facility again. You need to sort out the cowboys who run your parking because I am sure most customers are going to feel very angry being treated like this. I easily spent over £1000 a year in your store."
"Large choice of items for all needs and taste with good value for money. The staff is very helpful. The only problem for me is that is not easy to reach if you don't have a car, making it it a little uncomfortable."
"I felt completely overwhelmed when I went into the store. I have no DIY skills or where to start with decorating (wallpaper, paint etc). Thankfully the very knowledgeable and so very kind man named Sam at the collection desk as you enter the store, took the time to first put me at ease. Then guide me on the basics. I felt confident enough not to put the job off or to ask a friend but bite the bullet and go for it. Thank you Sam. And all the staff. Gosh you are an amazing group of people."
"I had the worst experience at this store. My paint was mixed in store and one of the lids were not on properly, assistant did not check. This caused 4.5l of paint to leak all over my brand new car and made us get it professionally cleaned. I went back to the store tree times and spoke to the manager Kellie on site and Leo Migliano via email. I must admit, that there role in Customer care was non existent. Especially Kellie had no empathy and after i asked her name (no badge) she basically refused to talk to me and send me to deal with head office. As a result of one simple mistake, my new car was ruined, my clothes and trainers also, most important, this is my local store and I will not go there again. Shame on customer care Friern Barnet B&Q store"
