"Lively pub, friendly staff and good service, however, the burger was a store-bought microwaved one. Similarly, the pie also looked store-bought. Disappointing."

"Lovely lunch on satuarday afternoon. Quite bizy service was quite slow . Food was beautiful me and friend shared a plougmans we asked for extra bread and this was happily deliverd with no extra charge ,my mum had a chicken wrap witch she totally enjoyed . My friend had ham egg and chips she said it was the best eggs shes ever had perfectly cooked . Bottle of riojca wasnt the best but on the whole a lovely satuarday lunch in chistlehurst . Highly reccomend xx"

"Busy pub and restaurant, tucked away from the main road and away from Chistlehurst High Street. Lots of blokes having a lunchtime and afternoon pint, plus lots of friends and families having Sunday lunch. Nice spacious garden seating area. Sunday roast was delicious. Friendly staff."

"A nice pub in rural suburbia with an extensive menu to surely suit all tastes? Sat outside, enjoying a pint and a couple of starters (whitebait and deep-fried brie) after a long walk around the adjacent Scadbury Park. Pleasant, helpful staff, if perhaps inattentive on occasions - 7' to get served, and 15+' to lose any interest in whatever desert might have been on the menu. Would certainly go back there next time I am in the area."
