"It is almost impossible to get an appointment at this practice. The online form doesn’t work for me apparently and there are no ‘none urgent’ appointments available. You have to stay on hold for over 40 minutes at 08:00am to get through and more than likely all appointments have gone. If you get an appointment it means you have to wait by your phone for an entire day for fear of missing the call back. I worry for vulnerable patients, those with mental health conditions who simply couldn’t face this process. And I have no idea how people are supposed to ‘catch cancer early’ if you have to face the urgent appointment scrum to get potential early cancer symptoms checked out. My daughter had a terrible cough that went on for weeks, she needed antibiotics and I knew that but I had to leave it even longer until she had ‘crackles on her lungs’ because I knew I wouldn’t even be seen without it. She suffered for weeks longer than needed, she was 4 years old at the time. I was diagnosed with ADHD but had to go private as a GP at this practice asked me ‘what’s the point’ in diagnosis at my age, I was 37. Horrible. Find a different GP practice as we will be."

"It pains me to give poor review to my fellow medical profession. I am a NHS dentist , We went back to normal operation from Aug 2020 doing all treatment face to face . Most dental emergency / pain appointments are seen on the day or next day . It has been impossible to get even a phone consultation without waiting ridiculous amount of time . I had to accept a time that I was working. One call came when I was doing consultation and that was it, I didn’t get another call. This is NOT how I or my colleagues treat our patients! You need to ask yourself why are you in a health profession if you don’t care ? I also need to bring up a traumatic experience several years back when one of clinicians insulted me ,spoke to me in a demeaning manner over the phone, accusing me falsifying my symptoms and not turning up for appointments . Firstly I missed none of your appointments . Secondly being in the medical field I do have the basic pharmaceutical knowledge . Mefenamic acid and Transamic acid are NOT the same and they can be prescribed together. I was struggling with bleeding 28 days out of a month, being a single mother and working in a high stress environment looking after thousands of patients of my own. Convinced of herself that I was making it all up, I was refused the medicine I needed . Your appalling attitude and ignorance astounded me. Please Ms GP I hope you are up to date with your CPD as this incidence seriously called into question your medical competence. If showing the minimum human decency proves such a task, please get out of medicine !"

"Lack of compassion and empathy! They have no time to pay attention to details. I am going through a tough phase with a new diagnosis of epilepsy for my daughter. Having lived in various parts of the UK; I have never encountered a bad experience with any of the GP surgery. Unsupportive and lack compassion and empathy towards patients wholistic care. We joined this surgery after moving home. We didn’t want to leave our previous GP i, but they contacted to say that we have moved away, thus need to change the practice. Feeling awful.. and have been calling 111, walking into ED instead."

"I have been registered at this practice for 4 years. The medical staff have always been polite. One of the receptionists seems to act as a gatekeeper and as a result can be insensitive at times. The other receptionist however, Judith, goes out of her way to be helpful. It because of this amazing lady that I am amending my review from 3 to 4 stars."
