Both instructors hold Black Belts in Ryukyu Kempo, American Freestyle Karate, Kodokan Judo, and Japanese JuJitsu, with Roy also holding a Black Belt in Aikido and Mary a Brown Belt. Additionally, they have training in Filipino Eskrima. The school is fully matted for safety during classes, which focus on teaching multiple styles of martial arts and blending them for effective self-defense rather than competition. While Judo competition is encouraged, it is not mandatory. Classes are kept small to allow for personalized attention, with students expected to come prepared and ready to learn.
