"One of my favorite local libraries. As a mother to 6, this location has a great selection for my kids. The librarians are amazing and have been extremely helpful over the years in suggesting books for my budding readers. I credit them for increasing my children's love of reading. As a reminder to the adults who are commenting, children are people too, and deserve access to the library as much as you do. Gone are the days when libraries were a space for only a select few. This is a smaller library, but there are other locations that have quiet rooms that are available for reservation. I'm not saying kids should be running wild, but there are definitely far worse things our youth could be doing besides making a bit of noise at a library. The only thing I wish they had more of was library books in French for children...not for learning the alphabet or phrases, but actual story books."
"The librarian really helped me find a book that I have been looking for."
"I love this library. The only one I go to. I don’t ever have to wait to use a computer either. Like the updated printer/scanner. All you have to do is scan your card now. Also love that they have a whole wall/section of urban books. I previously went to another library and they didn’t have a urban section nor did they have any other the urban authors I was looking for. Update: I still love this library. First time going back since Covid. The staff there went above and beyond today. Was first greeted by security who was very generous and held the doors open for me. Once inside, he asked what could he help me with. He was very very nice. Everything was blocked off, so you can’t go and find books yourself. One of the librarians assisted me with finding what I needed to find. You have to search on one of the computers and write down what you want and they go and get the books for you. Another librarian helped with checking out, she was very very nice. I can say it was a pleasure going to this library and still is my favorite!!"
"This place is very small. It is a bit loud for trying to study. Not too many tables and small selection, for an adult. It is kind of a hang out, for kids, during after school hours and no school days. The staff are not in control and I greatly believe it has potential, if the staff could maintain the "QUIET ATMOSPHERE " Once again, not good for serious studying but great for kids. It is clean. Bathrooms are clean."
"It is not as great as it used to be. Now they make you take photos to get a card issued, and if you have a child the parents have to be with them to get a library card. Also, the hours are VERY limited compared to what they used to be. Lastly, I feel libraries are a place where it should automatically be quiet, but it's not really reinforced at this location. The only reason I come here is because they have a laptop charging station and it is a convenient location."
