Burnt Bridge Tavern
Burnt Bridge Tavern, located at 5920 West County Highway K in Conover, Wisconsin, is a historic bar and restaurant with a rich history dating back to the early 1900s. Owned by the Singer family since July 2015, Burnt Bridge continues to be a beloved gathering place for locals and visitors alike. The tavern's name comes from a forest fire that burned down a bridge in the area, leading to the phrase "Meet at the Burnt Bridge" during prohibition times. After prohibition was repealed, a log cabin was built nearby which now serves as the dining room of the tavern.
