“Who would have thought going for a breast check would be classified as a wonderful experience?! But I can honestly say this was a really enjoyable highlight in my week. From talking to the lovely Brooke yesterday who was able to get super quick Southern Cross approval - to going to appointment this morning. Everything was so easy with directions, parking, beautiful spa-like interiors and every member of the team I met being divine. I can thoroughly recommend and will definitely be coming back here for any future checks or mammograms! Thanks so much Breast Institute!”

“The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. You can tell they genuinely care about their animals. Have had 2 dogs from them over the decades and both were beautiful girls who were loved to bits and are both sorely missed. The place is always very clean and tidy, smelling of disinfectant, like a hospital rather than what I always imagined the pound to be. However the hours they are open and available to the public for adoptions is limited. I assume that the other roles they play as council animal control is the reason they are so busy. Thanks for the amazing hard work you all do. I’m sure parts of it must be heartbreaking so you are strong people to stay day after day fighting to find homes for the others. Thank you for everything.”

“A great local pharmacy, a one stop shop for items you need when you're unwell or prescription items, as well as being a vaccination center for flu and covid vaccines. Easy accessible parking outside or on the street nearby. Both visits I've been on foot and walked over. Friendly staff members who are really onto it and helpful. Positive visits both visits.”

“Highly recommend hiring some bikes off Cycle Remutaka and just riding the Remutaka Rail Trail Incline section if you have limited time to explore this neck of the woods. Dave and the team were fabulously flexible when our group were a little last minute as to which day we would actually do this and nothing was a problem. Relaxed riding without any traffic and lots of historic points of interest (would suit any beginners) and the bikes and shuttle back to our wagon were both excellent quality and value for money. Look forward to fitting in the complete loop sometime.”
