The park features the restored McPherson and Howe family farmsteads, including a family-built barn that still stands today. To visit Howe Farm County Park, take Hwy 16 to Sedgwick and travel east about three miles to Long Lake Road. The park is situated between Mile Hill Drive and Sedgwick.

One of the highlights of Harper Park is the Point No Point Park beach and shoreline repair project, which is currently underway. Phase 1 of the project, involving the importation of sand and rock materials to the north beach, has been completed successfully. Phase 2 of the project will focus on further improving the beach and shoreline, including adding additional material, planting native vegetation, and rebuilding the rock revetment wall in front of the lighthouse.
