Tacoma Narrows Park

The park has 1,315 feet of sandy-rock beach facing the Narrows Passage, with excellent views of the Narrows Bridge and Tacoma. Visitors can enjoy a paved parking area, grassy play and picnic area, picnic tables, a non-motorized boat launch, telescopes, and a gazebo overlook at the 6.0-acre waterfront area. The park is also a designated site for non-motorized watercraft use by the Washington Water Trails Association. It is part of the Cascadia Marine Trail and includes mature forest, saltwater beach, and a rich history of ownership by various families.

Whittier Park

This 27.1-acre park offers a variety of active and passive recreational opportunities for the community to enjoy. Currently, the park's athletic fields are undergoing a much-needed renovation to improve the natural grass surface and field lighting. Thanks to a grant award of $317,030 from the Washington Recreation and Conservation Office, this project is now possible. While the south end of the park will be fenced off for approximately six months during construction, the end result will contribute to making Fircrest Park an even better place for play, recreation, and sports.
