"Please don't move here. I have been a long-time resident, and I have had my issues with maintenance, but the final thing I'm done with is the highway robbery of the fee they charged to my account, and when I called, I was received with an attitude by Kacey. I was charged $50 for non-compliance; there was no email or note. Just a $50, when I called (5x's for someone to pick up—another issue they never pick up the phone or reply to email), I spoke with Kacey, and she told me it was for not having rental insurance. I explained to her that I have rental insurance and have had it since moving here in 2018. I will forward you the proof that it never lapsed. Kacey said they won't remove the $50. I ask why not, especially for a long-time resident that has a renewal coming up in April. Her response was that it's the resident who needs to turn it in. Again, I explained that for a resident who has been with the apartment since 2018, I believe you guys can do it. They charge you $25 for valet trash pick-up. $9.99 Amenity Improvement Fee: $72 sewer $45 trash $40 water plus PSE bill. I have dealt with maintenance not coming for months, requiring emails and calls to check the status of the maintenance. To charge a long-term resident a fee without even an email or a note as a courtesy is what pushed me over. I hate writing bad reviews, especially when I have had a good experience with the office staff, but the new staff is nowhere near the experience I had. I have told the old staff that I keep signing my lease because of how kind and helpful they are, but this new staff is why I am writing this review."
"Unfortunately it took about 6 weeks before this was completed with us calling many times and they hooked up hot and cold water wrong. I was told we are getting another washer soon so we are waiting. Very nice however."
"I’ve lived her a month now, I got a fully renovated unit and it visually is great. Amenities are pretty cool, 24-hr gym, year round heated pool, basketball courts, and pretty quiet neighborhood. Unfortunately, I can tell they rushed the renovation on my apartment as things immediately were not working or falling apart within the first 3 days of living here. I put in maintenance requests for these issues and have yet to hear back from them, it’s been a month and I doubt I’m going to hear anything soon. Maintenance may be understaffed, but there is no way this apartment can’t afford to hire more people, it’s just quite baffling it is taking them this long to even get in contact with me on an update. The biggest issue I have is that the heater hasn’t worked in the living room since we moved in, we went through that freeze at the beginning of the year with no heat nor a care in the world from the apartment complex that put out an email regarding freezing pipes. It should be illegal to allow a heater to go unfixed for this long in the dead of winter, but here we are. Also, it would be great if they had better security measures, my roommates car was stolen and they lack cameras or even a security guard through the night, can’t expect much and things happen, but if there were cameras around the complex then there would be some trail for cops to follow after the jacking. If moving in, make sure to deep clean the bathtubs because the complex won’t deep clean it, I pulled out the most disgustingly long and product soaked hair from the drain and used a power scrubber and there was dirt coming from crevices they didn’t think to clean. Parking sucks if you plan not to pay, they sell that they have free parking and then you move in and realize 70% of parking is covered parking which you have to pay for, it’s just worth it to pay for it, especially if you wanna keep a good eye on your car and decrease odds of a jacking. Hoping this place gets better as my lease goes on for the next 11 months, fingers crossed."
"The apartments are large and spacious at a reasonable cost. The leasing ladies are always very sweet and helpful. The master key for my apartment has been lost not once, but *twice* by this place though. The first time the assistant community director completely passed blame onto contractors and tried to convince me that I don't need to get my lock rekeyed. Seriously? The second time I was given no excuse besides that my key "didn't work", after I recently had my home rekeyed and they made a copy then. There was also a period of time where I consistently asked them to reach out to me for all contact, but they continued to solely contact my husband. Our overhead kitchen light stopped working, we didn't have a light in our kitchen for a month and a half because we submitted a request that was never addressed. When we asked what to do, we were told to keep submitting maintenance requests. Just frustrating considering it takes like 5 minutes to submit them and they want me to do that, what, everyday until someone comes? Apparently there is supposed to be new management coming soon, hopefully they can fix the mess that the last directors created. Overall it's not terrible but the amount of times I have had to take time off for this place is ridiculous."
"I've lived at Glen Park for 5 years and it was a bit of a roller coaster of an experience. The office staff when I first moved in was great! That's changed so much over the years. I've lived in 2 units here and they both had serious water issues. Water has rained down in my unit and flooded the floors and destroyed my stuff twice but they have fixed the pipes so hopefully it gets better from there. Maintenance isn't great at all at fixing things and they've canceled so many of my requests without fixing anything. Elena is really the best part about these apartments. She deserves better! She's great with communication and very helpful!"
