"I would like to share with you my recent experience with Kohout's Automotive Services, Lacey Washington. I took my 2009 Pirus into Les Schwab for an oil change and brakes inspection. Kohout's said that my rear bakes shoes were saturated in brake fluid, brake cylinders we're starting to leak, and drums need replacing. Kòhout's quoted me $750 to repair my rear. I called Les Schwab, and they gave me a quote of $466. I scheduled an appointment with Les Schwab to repair my rear brakes. When I took it in, Shawn from Les Schwab called me after their brake inspection to inform me that my brakes were good and only needed a minor brake adjustment. Les Schwab made the adjustment at NO charge. If I had gone with Kohout's inspection. I would have given them $750 for parts & labor that wasn't necessary. I will not recommend Kohout's Automotive Services to my family and friends."

They also gave me a list of other things I should probably look into repairing eventually, without trying to push me towards expensive repairs I did not need.
