"My dentist referred me to this center to get my wisdom teeth removed. Although they were sent my X-rays and referral, and I made an appointment for what I thought was removal, they still charged me another $170 to tell me I need to get them removed again, and that I needed to come back again. They didn’t make sure they took my insurance before or after my “appointment”. So scheduled me a $4000 surgery, and I took off work to find out a week before, my insurance doesn’t cover it, and I won’t be able to do it. Now have to wait in pain another couple months for an appointment at a different place that actually asked about my insurance up front."

"I needed to have a broken Wisdom tooth extracted. I checked around the Winchester area and was quoted $1200.00 by a larger Winchester dental practice. Since I don't have dental insurance and am self employed that was too steep for my budget so I looked around and found Advanced Implant and Periodontal Specialists, and their Oral Surgeon Dr Smith. They were much less expensive and quoted me a third of what the other larger centers wanted. I was very nervous about the procedure but they worked with me on both the price and what would be done. Then when Dr Smith came in he gave me the local novacaine injections which I barely even felt. No pain whatsoever. Then 10 minutes later he came in, checked to see if I was numb then said "ok you're going to feel a little pinch here". I felt the little pinch, it wasn't much, and literally 10 second later he was holding the tooth in front of my eyes in some tongs and said "It's out". 10 SECONDS! I'm not kidding. I was amazed (and pretty freakin happy). It was literally the most painless smooth procedure I ever had in a dentists office, and I'm 63 years old. The guys hands are gold. Then he scraped out the infection after which took like another 2 minutes and it was all over. I was literally in and out in less than an hour for a Wisdom Tooth extraction. You just can't beat that. One of the things about finding a good dentist is finding one with good hands, who just knows the craft. I've had some bad ones. This guy is gold, a master at his craft. Best I've ever seen."

I went in with an infection and even though there was pain when i first got to Dr. Smith he was careful, apologetic and kind to me. He removed a few roots that were in my gums after I healed from my first procedure & infection (that I had at my regular dentist) and it was successful and without any complications! I would recommend his office to anyone if they needed any help! 10 out of 10 in my book!
