Wonders Extended Day at Gesher is a nonprofit institution located at 4800 Mattie Moore Court in Fairfax, Virginia, United States. We offer accredited early childhood education, before and after school care, and summer camps for children from two months through eighth grade. Our program at Gesher includes Before Care from 7:00 am until the first bell, After Care from dismissal bell until 6:30 pm, and Full-day Care from 7:00 am until 6:30 pm. The Pozez JCC Early Childhood Learning Center is a nurturing and educational school located at 8900 Little River Turnpike in Fairfax, Virginia. Glen Cove Pool, located at 5471 Brigantine Way in Fairfax, Virginia, offers a variety of amenities for members and guests to enjoy. In addition to a picnic area with tables and a charcoal grill, the pool also has a snack bar serving ice cream treats, cold drinks, and snacks. Food and drinks are allowed on the pool deck, but not in the pool itself. The pool is home to the Glen Cove Pirates, a summer swim team for children aged 5-18. The team practices in the afternoons and mornings, and competes in five swim meets during the season. Located along the Occoquan Reservoir in Fairfax Station, Virginia, Sandy Run Boathouse is a popular tourist attraction that serves as the area's scholastic rowing facility and racecourse. The facility features three boathouses and a 2,000 meter Class A racecourse, providing a venue for rowing crew education, training, and competitions. While the park is generally not open to the public, spectators are permitted for regattas. However, alcohol, propane/grilling/open flames, and pets are not allowed on regatta days. During certain times of the year, the park has specific restrictions in place, such as being closed from December 1st until January 31st and having cold weather restrictions when the air temperature is below 40 degrees. Additionally, from February 1st through March 31st, adult rowers may take out certain types of boats with restrictions.
