Crater Community Hospice Thrift Shop, located at 3916 South Crater Road in Petersburg, Virginia, is a store dedicated to providing financial support for hospice care to patients in need. Donations of gently used clothing, books, sporting goods, furniture, and household items are accepted at both the Petersburg and Midlothian locations. Managed by Rick Bowman and Assistant Manager Charlotte Williams, the store is grateful for all donations and asks that items be donated during normal store hours. All proceeds from the Thrift Shop go towards offsetting the costs of patient care for families in the community. Items that don't sell may be recycled to further support the hospice's mission. Gently used furniture donations are accepted as long as they are in resaleable condition and come from a smoke-free environment with minimal wear and tear.
