The facility features three boathouses and a 2,000 meter Class A racecourse, providing a venue for rowing crew education, training, and competitions. While the park is generally not open to the public, spectators are permitted for regattas. However, alcohol, propane/grilling/open flames, and pets are not allowed on regatta days. During certain times of the year, the park has specific restrictions in place, such as being closed from December 1st until January 31st and having cold weather restrictions when the air temperature is below 40 degrees. Additionally, from February 1st through March 31st, adult rowers may take out certain types of boats with restrictions.
