### Meet Dr. Priya Thirumlai

Born in Queens, New York, and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Priya Thirumlai is a highly experienced vascular surgeon. She earned her medical degree at Sri Devraj Urs Medical College in India, completed her residency in General Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, and an OBGYN residency at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. Dr. Thirumlai is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is affiliated with the Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross, Georgia.

An accomplished educator, Dr. Thirumlai has won the Teaching Award three years in a row during her residency and now teaches venous disease to residents at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. She also serves on the board at PRIMUS Pharmaceuticals and the Sclerotherapy Program at CVR, and she leads the Pelvic Vein and Peripheral Arterial Disease Clinic at the Center for Vascular Medicine.
