Mt. Zion Historic Park, located at 40309 Little River Turnpike in Aldie, Virginia, is a must-visit tourist attraction. The park is home to the Mt. Zion Old School Baptist Church, built in 1851, which served as a place of worship for Old School Baptists until 1980. During the Civil War, the church had various purposes including being a rendezvous point for Mosby’s Rangers, a hospital, prison, and battleground. The adjacent cemetery contains over 240 marked headstones, including a War of 1812 veteran.
