Harrison Lake National Fish Hatchery - Hatchery Building
The Harrison Lake National Fish Hatchery is located at 11110 Kimages Road in Charles City, Virginia, United States. This park offers a variety of activities such as hiking, birding, wildlife watching, and picnicking on the hatchery grounds. Visitors can explore a hike-walking trail that follows Herring Creek and leads to the 99-acre Harrison Lake, where boating (non-motorized) and fishing are permitted. The trail also takes you through a loblolly pine forest, wetlands, and past Herring Creek. Insect repellent and protective clothing are recommended during warm weather due to biting insects and poison ivy.
