"It’s unbelievable that I was shamed and treated with disrespect for coming to my appointment 5 minutes late. Carla, a dental hygienist at this practice told me that “ It was disgusting to think that she has to clean my teeth and my treatment was going to interfere with her plans for lunch! Something has changed about this practice and it appears “they do not want to see certain types of patients”. When a patient leaving the dental practice calls you by name and laughs, you know that your HIPAA has been violated!!! I asked this patient, how do you know me? She said, “they were talking about you in there.” I have never felt humiliated in any medical or dental practice in the US until today I realized, you need to be sure that your health care provider cares about you before you allow them to care for you! After 20 years as a patient at Starns and Wood Dentistry, It’s sad that I left the office feeling less human!"

Both the doctors are amazing, the Office Manager is one of the kindest, most helpful people I've encountered in a medical/dental office, and all the Hygienists and Assistants are wonderful. Plus, the doctors volunteer regularly at the Cville Free Clinic. Down to earth, GOOD people. Highly recommend this practice."
"These guys were amazing to work with. All of the staff were friendly and great. I'm a super nervous dental patient, but Dr. Starns and Tiffany kept me at ease through the whole process of having a temporary crown put in. They explained everything to me ahead of time and again as they were going through the process--I really appreciated this. They checked on me throughout the procedure and made sure I was as comfortable as I could be... and those massaging chairs are a plus for sure! I won't be going anywhere else!"
