"I was never told how much it would cost up front. It wasn't until it was finalized I was told I owed THEM over $400 for filing for me, when it took LESS than an hour. $400 an hour? That's ridiculous. Will NEVER file with h & r again. Only 2 stars because staff was nice."
"They did several years of my taxes because I was behind. Even though my address was on every document I gave them they spelled my address wrong. I have had to go to another firm to fix this issue. They did not stand behind their work and would not help me fix it. None of my returns were sent to me from the state or federal."
"Three main points of frustration: 1/ H&R block rarely replied to emails (taking 3+ weeks to respond) 2/ They canceled multiple in-person appointments at the last second. I took a half day off work, and went into the H&R block office only to find out that they need to reschedule. 3/ I'm not confident that my return was done correctly. I asked about a form that I uploaded, and my tax pro seemed unaware of the form."
