The park aims to create two accessible and beautiful surf waves on the Rivanna River at Darden Towe Park, enhancing the existing artificial ledges to provide a safe and free experience for water-sports enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Recreation Engineering and Planning (REP) has been engaged to design and build the project, bringing their expertise in creating instream projects and whitewater parks.
