"Peaceful but can be precarious to access from the bike trail. A safer, pedestrian crossing is warranted"
"Memorial to a French Ambassador who was friends with FDR. You can't get close to the memorial from the bike trail because it is on the opposite side of Beach Drive but there is a wayside telling you about the history and you can also pull it up on the park mobile site/telephone tour."
"Very nice story about this diplomat."
"This is a lovely stone bench along a path in Rock Creek Park. We recently visited it during the beginning of November and the fall foliage created a beautiful autumn backdrop for a family photo shoot. Parking is abundant at the old tennis courts above the bench if you don't mind a short walk down the side of a hill."
