β OpenSaint Michael's College Department of Public Safety is a local government office located at 220 College Parkway in Colchester, Vermont. Our administrative offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, but our officers are on duty 24 hours a day, year-round. Rossetti Natural Area
β ClosedRossetti Natural Area, located at 150 Holy Cross Road in Colchester, Vermont, is a beautiful park managed by the Lake Champlain Land Trust. This 47-acre property features over 1,280 feet of rare sandy beach on Lake Champlain, providing free access to visitors. The area was saved from development in 1997 and is now open to the public for swimming and enjoying the natural surroundings. The natural area also includes a button-bush wetland that filters stormwater and provides habitat for endangered plant species. Visitors can follow a quarter-mile trail to access the beach, and parking is available but may fill up on busy days. Dogs are welcome on the trail but are not allowed on the beach itself.
