Spence Eccles Field House
Spence Eccles Field House is a premier institution located on Guardsman Way in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The facility offers a variety of amenities including swimming pools, ice rinks, and sports fields. Due to limited lifeguard staffing, swim hours may vary so it is recommended to call ahead before your visit. Rental availability is limited from November to March, with priority given to university-affiliated and non-profit groups during the summertime rental request application process. All other availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis with a minimum of 14 days advance notice required for proper arrangements. Ice time for private rentals is limited, but public skate options are available for groups. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own towel, lock, and sundries, with small lockers available for day use and larger lockers available for annual rent. Goggles are not allowed when jumping off the diving boards, and only molded plastic cleats are permitted on the playing surface. Utah Olympic Oval is a premier ice sports facility located at 5662 Cougar Lane in Kearns, Utah. Known for having the "Fastest Ice on Earth," this venue offers a unique skating experience on a 400-meter ice oval that holds numerous Olympic World Records. Whether you're interested in hockey, figure skating, speed skating, or curling, Utah Olympic Oval has something for everyone. The facility was built in 2001 in preparation for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games and has since become a hub for ice sports in the state of Utah.
