Cedar Crest House
Cedar Crest House, located at 2223 Jefferson Boulevard in Dallas, Texas, is a historic Victorian style home originally built in 1905 for Lark Owen Daniel (L.O. Daniel), a prominent millenary company owner and president of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce. This three-story, 5,000 square foot home was lovingly restored and transformed into the working offices of Durham, Pittard & Spalding Law Firm in 2016. The restoration process preserved many original features of the home, including the first-floor hall, reception, library, dining room, butler’s pantry, and kitchen. The upper floors were modified to accommodate 12 private offices, while keeping the original wood trim and windows intact. The porch roof railings and north entry were restored to match the original style, and a new back porch and entrance were added for convenient access from the parking lot.
