“First and foremost, the atmosphere is molded to ensure all are comfortable. Coaches and peers are friendly, welcoming, and want to help you achieve your positive goals. Since starting, I have found all who practice Jiu-Jutsu with Team Rabadi, are understanding, benevolent, and eager to share their passion. When first starting I was new, nervous, and unsure what I was doing. After participating in only one class, I knew I had found a new passion. Not because of my own personal goals, but because of prosocial environment you step into day one. From warming up appropriately, to learning the art of Jui-Jutsu step-by-step. Your coaches and training partners will ensure you are safe, being taught correctly, respect your boundaries, and most important, make sure you are having fun. If you are unsure about Jiu-Jutsu, don’t be. I had never done anything similar to Jiu-Jutsu prior to starting two months ago. Not only will you be bettering your physical health, you will also strengthening your mentality. Your confidence will rise, you will become happy, and people will notice. Take advantage of the FREE seven day trail. Don’t wait to call them and don’t ask anyone for a second opinion. Take the first step in bettering yourself and establish a sense of discipline in your life.”

“I was a student of Master Sean for over 10 years at the San Marcos location. He is amazingly knowledgeable and skilled and still is a true mentor and friend. I couldn’t imagine my kung fu journey without such a gifted teacher, and now I have ended up opening my own school and having my own following based on his teachings and the way he ran his school. Thanks for everything!”

“My daughter was under the Bertlings mentoring for 3 years. I can not say enough good things about the program or them to do justice. My daughter matured and was respectful and the time there taught her hard work and discipline pay off. The program has helped her in her sports and I believe has given her an advantage in her efforts.”

“Eyvonne Williams is an exceptional therapist. She is trained in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and many many other things. If you are looking for a therapist to do some really impactful short term work on a traumatic event, she is a rare gem. She isn’t cheap but she makes deep progress with people quickly but cutting to the core of the issue.”

    Anxiety Eliminated, Deborah Bird

    ★★★★★ 5
    Closed

“I have made a lot of positive changes after working with Deborah. I am also much happier because I am using my time more efficiently by working on my writing and other creative pursuits, rather than letting my depression and past trauma paralyze me. I have also noticed my decreased sense of social anxieties and performance anxiety. I haven’t yet delivered a speech to a big group, but I am able to read my impromptu, free-style prose and poetry to a circle of 10 (giver or take) strangers and friends in my weekly writing group. This is a big change because two months ago, I was hardly writing anything and had terrible anxieties about writing as well that would contribute to my writer’s block. I also wasn’t part of any community, so I didn’t have many people to share my time with, just my roommates and my friends who live in another city. I’ve also improved my eating habits! I make better eating choices, without any reluctance. Through the help of her aversion therapy in our first session, she helped me cut out white refined wheat, which, as she explained, can accumulate to negative blood sugar levels which also directly affect our anxieties and depressive moods. I wasn’t so sure how much my diet would improve my mood, but after changing my diet to reduce my refined white wheat intake, I have been able to observe the differences in my energy levels and moods. I definitely feel much better when I eat the foods that are good for me, and conversely, I feel slovenly or quickly agitated when I eat the foods that aren’t good for me. Deborah has a kind approach, and after working with her for 6 sessions, I have grown to trust her with any problems I need to deal with. I was nervous for our first hypnotherapy session since I’d never done anything like it, but she answered all of my questions and thoroughly explained her process before we began. She didn’t make me relive any past trauma because it wasn’t necessary. Instead, we focused on the positive changes that I wanted to begin implementing in my life, and I am so thankful to have found Deborah to help me turn my life around.”
