Lone Star Driving School, located at 417 West Parker Road in Houston, Texas, offers comprehensive driver education programs for teens aged 15-18. Our Teen Driver's Program includes 32 hours of classroom instruction on Mondays through Thursdays, with students required to attend classes for 2 hours per day. In addition, teens will receive 14 hours of in-car instruction, split between 7 hours of driving and 7 hours of observation. To participate in the program, teens must have their birth certificate and social security card to obtain a driving permit, as the DPS does not accept photocopies. Our school emphasizes the importance of safe driving practices, especially in light of the increasing issue of distracted driving. We provide resources and education on the dangers of texting while driving, as well as the importance of wearing seat belts.
