It was built with a Local Parks Grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and is situated North of A.W. Jackson Elementary School. The park offers various amenities for visitors to enjoy. The City Council voted to rename the Community Park in honor of Tony Becerra on September 15, 2015. Becerra, a lifelong resident of Rosenberg, was known for his dedication to the community and his various contributions.
