She obtained her Bachelor's degree Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University and her MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Champion completed her internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where she also served as the Administrative Chief Resident. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of various medical associations including the Texas Medical Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
