Rice Tank
Rice Tank is a primitive roadside campsite located in Big Bend National Park, Texas, United States. This campground offers beautiful views, solitude, and a small flat gravel space for camping next to your vehicle. There are no amenities such as shade or toilets provided, and the use of generators is prohibited in the backcountry. A Backcountry Permit is required to use any backcountry campsite, including Rice Tank. Rice Tank can accommodate 2 vehicles and 6 people, but no horses are allowed. The maximum vehicle length is 25 feet, and trailers are considered vehicles for site capacities. The campsite is located along the Glenn Spring Road, 4.3 miles from the pavement.
