"Very nice dog park. Loads of space, literally plenty of room for everyone. We come by when it's busy and when it isn't. The busy times, there's always new friends to be had! Also super nice water area and fishing, which is permitted outside of the dog park area. Bathrooms are nearby and clean. Also, some odd birds are seen here; green parrots? Saw 2-5 of them here."
"I'm giving this park a one star review because the fence at the lake does not go out far enough and deep enough to keep the dogs from walking around it. Once around the fence, there are no other fences to keep the dogs in the park area. The area opens up to roads with high traffic. That could be a very bad situation for your dogs. The rest of the park was nice. But because the poor fencing, I will never bring my dogs back here because the fencing is not safe. Please think about your dogs and their safety."
"My experience at this park was very disappointing. It was my first time bringing my family’s dogs here by myself and I was confronted outside the gates by an older woman who was very unfriendly and said she’d call the constable if I brought my 2 pugs into the small dog area. I left the park sad and confused because in the past my mom and I had brought our pugs and there was never an issue. I even have pictures of them enjoying their time at this same small dog park. I understand the weight limit is 20lbs, but what about the dogs that weigh less than 30lbs? Is it correct to refuse entry to dogs whose bread is considered a toy dog only because they have put on some extra weight as they have become senior dogs? I would never take my small dogs into the large dog park despite weighing a hefty 28lbs. I would suggest changing the weight limit to 30lbs or include certain dog breeds. Another suggestion would be making a medium sized dog park. Unless you feel comfortable putting your dog that weights between 20-30lbs in the big dog area, I suggest a different park."
"We took our two> under 20 pound beagles to the dog park today 4/15/23 for the first time for us. It was really nice and well maintained I was really very impressed by it. I was disappointed by some of the larger dogs in the small dog area and by some people paying no attention to their dogs, and a couple of dogs outside the park off lead. But we had e nice overall experience."
"Okay, let's get into it! What I like most about this dog park is that they have small and big dogs separated. Well, at least for the folks that follow the rules. Features: * Doggy obstical course * Area where dogs can swim * dog water fountains, bag stations, dog showers * 2 shaded pavilions in both park areas. * Two trails to walk in the dog area. One longer trail and a shorter trail. As always, you have to keep a good eye on your fur, baby. But my dog loves it here and loves that he can be free and roam and get all the scents. He will play a little but mainly likes to explore and sniff around. Outside of the dog park, there is like a 2-mile trail you can walk. There is also a large playground opposite of the dog park on the other side of the lake. Overall, a great park!"
