Northfield Park
Northfield Park, located at 7804 Davis Boulevard in North Richland Hills, Texas, is a spacious 34-acre community park that underwent extensive renovations in 2018. This park is one of the city's original parks and offers a variety of recreational amenities for visitors to enjoy. With lighted softball fields, tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball, shaded playground, a restroom and concession building, pavilions, picnic tables, and walking trails that connect to the John Barfield Trail, there is something for everyone to enjoy at Northfield Park. The park also features the large Barfield Pavilion, available for rental to accommodate up to 100 people. For larger gatherings, arrangements can be made by contacting Parks Administration. The renovation of Northfield Park was made possible through funding from the city's half-cent sales tax for park development, park impact fees from developers, and a generous grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
