Heritage Farmstead Museum
Located in Plano, Texas, the Heritage Farmstead Museum is a beloved historic farm site and museum in North Texas. Our mission is to preserve and educate visitors about our agrarian roots through a collection of over 10,000 objects and archival materials related to Blackland Prairie life. The museum's 4-acre grounds feature 15 historic buildings, including the 1891 Wilson House and the Young House, with rotating exhibits throughout the year. Visitors can explore our farm grounds and interact with a variety of farm animals, such as chickens, guinea fowl, pigs, and goats.
