"This place used to be a GREAT place to spend quality time with your kiddos. It sucks how all the physical fun has been replaced. I get it this is a museum and not a playground, but watching the changes over the years is depressing. From being here 4 hours having fun to it being cut to less than two hours cause there isn’t much to do."
"For been a museum in the RGV is pretty interesting. I took my 2 teen boys and we loved it. There's a lot to see."
"I love bringing my kids to this museum is super fun; but every time i come i see less stuff to play with . It needs constant changes and new added stuff for kids and family. Still a great place to bring kids all ages to learn, play, draw, and have some fun; also is very affordable"
"I see how this museum is more geared for kids, not adults. It's cheap. Could be a good cheap stop to escape the heat. I heard about this place when it was mentioned about in a YouTube. With a title like that I was very excited to go. There was a neat display of artists (wasn't clear if it was a particular exhibit), but it was there. Then we rounded the corner into the science portion. It was a huge, empty room. no explanations with any of the "interactive" displays. It was primarily set up for a kids play place."
"This was the first place we stopped in McAllen after lunch. It was honestly a lot smaller than we had anticipated, but packed with a lot of beautiful art and some geology. The science section is definitely geared toward children, which is very educational."
