"Dr. Hwang took me on as a patient towards the end of my second trimester. She is thorough, personable, and listens to your concerns. I’m extremely happy with the care I have received this far and feel as if Dr. Hwang has gone out of her way for me multiple times now. The front desk staff has also been very helpful when I had an appointment scheduling issue."

"I had an appointment scheduled for months and showed up to just be told it was cancelled. Notifications were sent to all of Janine Sherman’s patients however, I did not receive one because I did not have a My Chart account set up. I wouldn’t normally make a big deal but I drove an 1 hour and 30 minutes and booked this mornings in advanced. A call or text would have sufficed for notification. I will not be returning to Southwest OBGYN."

"Dr. Penkar is great. She delivered my son and was excellent. We love the doctor, but the wait time here is absolutely insane. My fiancé has been sitting in the office for over an hour without any explanation as to why she is 45 minutes over her scheduled appointment time. Not even called back into a room !!! My advice … if you need to see these doctors .. take the day off because you’re gonna need it. I’ve worked in the medical for the majority of my professional life in fast paced orthopedic and spinal practices, and I have never once seen a schedule that was so poorly managed. I cannot believe there are not more negative reviews about how absolutely atrocious the wait time is. This is not just one occurrence this is literally every time we have to come here. Expect minimum of an hour before you get moved into a room. Make sure to pack a lunch. Ridiculous."

"Amazing, as always! Stephanie, the ultrasound tech, was so wonderful! She was so easy to talk to, and she made me feel relaxed even though I was nervous. Dr. Starr called me with my results very shortly after my appointment, which was amazing because I didn’t have to wait a long time for results and worry even more! Dr. Starr truly is the best doctor ever! Overall my experience was perfect!"

"Great experience. Only problem was I was kept on hold for about 12 minutes when I called from my car to say I was there. I LOVED going straight into an exam room with no waiting. The doctor came in very quickly and was so nice and thorough. I was in and out in about 35 minutes, which was awesome! I felt very comfortable with the whole process and really appreciated the doctor/staff's efforts to keep patients from waiting. I am very confident in the doctor's abilities and hope my insurance plan doesn't change again so that I can continue seeing her. I would highly recommend."
