Located at 5321 1st Street in Katy, Texas, The Dryer - Historic J.V. Cardiff & Sons Rice Dryer is a museum that showcases the rich history of rice drying in Texas. Established in 1943, the first concrete rice dryer in Texas was built by J.V. Cardiff & Sons, a pioneering family in the rice industry.
