Jake's Place Park is a beloved tourist attraction located at 100 Naylor Road in Oak Point, Texas, United States. This park holds a special place in the hearts of the community, as it was created in memory of Jake Mazur, a young teenager who tragically lost his life while doing what he loved - bass fishing. In 1994, Jake was struck and killed by lightning during a fishing trip with his father on Lake Fork. To honor his memory, Mayor Harold Bowden and the City Council dedicated 8.5 acres of land to create Jake's Place Park.
