Queen Isabel Inn
The Queen Isabel Inn is a historic seaside resort located at 300 South Garcia Street in Port Isabel, Texas. As the Rio Grande Valley's oldest seaside resort, we offer clean and well-appointed one and two bedroom suites for guests seeking a sophisticated and peaceful retreat with easy access to the beaches and attractions of South Padre Island. Recognized as a Texas Historic Landmark and winner of the 2006 Texas Treasure Award, the Queen Isabel Inn was originally built as an exclusive hunting and fishing club in the early 20th century on Laguna Madre Bay at Point Isabel. Situated next to the Rio Grande Railroad depot, it was the first seaside resort in the Rio Grande Valley and remains one of the few historic inns along the South Texas coast.
